This week it was announced that Marty Stuart had donated much of his unrivaled collection of memorabilia to the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum. That Nashville Sound has uploaded the formal ceremony, which featured Vince Gill, Chris Stapleton, and Stuart himself playing some of the donated instruments. Especially noteworthy for Stapleton's "Why Me Lord", backed by members of Earls of Leicester.

Suddenly among the most eagerly anticipated albums set for release before year's end is a tribute to songwriter David Olney from New West Records. Holler fills in some details on the album, which features a previously unheard Townes Van Zandt recording.

After an intense couple months of announcements, adds to A Routes & Branches Guide To Feeding Your Monster are slowing as Fall approaches. This week, we added an EP from Noeline Hofmann, who rocketed to fame after Zach Bryan asked to duet on one of her songs. Purple Gas EP is set for a October 4 appearance on the La Honda label. Long-respected folk songwriter Tucker Zimmerman has announced an October 11 date for his next project. Backed by Big Thief and friends, Dance Of Love will arrive courtesy of 4AD. Amy Speace's ninth collection is an autobiographical assortment of songs. American Dream is slated for an October 18 unveiling (Windbone). That David Olney tribute we mentioned above will be available on October 18 as well (New West). Entitled Can't Steal My Fire, it delivers tributes from Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Buddy Miller, and more. Recently featured in a high profile spot on the soundtrack for the third season of FX's The Bear, Jennifer Castle will take her victory lap with a forthcoming full-length. Camelot is set for a November 1 street date, courtesy of Paradise Of Bachelors.
