There are effectively 3 things going on here at R&B HQ: Our reviews, our ROUTES-casts and A Routes & Branches Guide To Feeding Your Monster. While the release calendar is updated constantly, with new stuff being added several times per week, I’ve always tended to publish our playlists and our reviews simultaneously, once per week. While those playlists are reliably ready by Sunday evening, the reviews require more attention. They don't respond as well to deadlines. Let’s change that.
Starting this weekend, we’ll be sharing our popular
ROUTES-cast playlists each Sunday like clockwork. And of course, we’ll continue
updating our release calendar as obsessively as ever. What’s different is that
reviews will be published when they’re ready, and not bound with a playlist. This
allows for more freedom in the writing process. It also means some weeks we may
get a couple reviews and some weeks we may not. We’ll still strive for at least
one review per week.
It’s always been my hope to grow Routes & Branches as I’m
able. The adjustments listed here aren’t necessarily adding extra content, but
they’re assuring more posts, more often. And that’s good for both of us!
Per this new schedule, you can expect our next ROUTES-cast later today, along with WHAT's SO GREAT ABOUT FEBRUARY?!!
