Scott Foley, purveyor of dust
This week on A Routes & Branches Guide To Feeding Your Monster: Charley Crockett's generous output is hard to track. He's announcing his second full-length record of the year with The Man From Waco, scheduled to see the light on September 9 (Son of Davy). Longtime Old 97s frontman Rhett Miller returns to his successful solo career with The Misfit, due on September 16 via ATO. Lambchop's output is only occasionally appropriate for our ROUTES-casts, but it's always appropriate for my heart. Stay tuned for The Bible, scheduled for a September 30 release. We're ready for Caleb Caudle's next project. The singer-songwriter has announced an October 7 date for Forsythia, released with the help of Soundly. Finally, Eric Bachmann and Archers of Loaf have announced their first album in more than twenty years. Expect Reason in Decline on shelves on October 21 (Merge).
