ROUTES-cast JULY 28, 2024

ROUTES & BRANCHES
featuring the very best of americana, alt.country and roots music
July 28, 2024
Scott Foley, purveyor of dust

Every Sunday we gather precisely thirty (30) new tracks to soundtrack the coming week and to keep you appraised of the current state of our kind of music. We host the ROUTES-cast on Spotify, with a quick preview located at the bottom of each Episode. A quick visit to our Spotify page will provide you with access to quite a few past ROUTES-casts. If you play your cards right, you might never need to look elsewhere to fulfill your new music needs. On the other hand, if you feel there hasn't been any good music since American Beauty, you're definitely on the wrong website.

A quick note: the ROUTES-cast entries followed by a capital "D" are making their debut, marking the first time anything from the record has been featured on our site. Once an album is formally released, we might play one or two songs from it, but our attention span is brittle. Most of what's below is from new artists and forthcoming LPs. Never heard of an artist? Isn't that cool? Not enjoying a particular song? Not sorry. That's why god made the fast forward button.

Welcome to the great world of music discovery!
