You can plan your record-buying budget with A Routes & Branches Guide To Feeding Your Monster, our fastidiously updated new release calendar. Among others, this week we added an announcement from Joe Ely. Just six months after the release of his last collection, the Texas legend has set a February 7 appearance for Love and Freedom (Rack 'Em). Lonnie Holley's fourth record will feature contributions from Jacknife Lee, Isaac Brock, Billy Woods, and more. Tonky should reach us on March 21, courtesy of Jagjaguwar. The most recent signing to the Oh Boy label is Palmyra, a three-piece band from Virginia. March 28 is the expected street date for Restless. Fresh off a Best Song nomination at the UK Americana Awards, Brown Horse is looking at an April 4 deadline for a new CD. All the Right Weaknesses will arrive via the Loose Music label. Finally, Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn has prepared his next solo set. Always Been hits virtual shelves on April 4 (Tamarac).
