THURSDAY MORNING MIX
January 22, 2009 Scott Foley

More promising new music continues to fill our in-box at TMM, already making 2009 a pretty good year musically. Jason Isbell's 2nd solo album will keep my ears company this week, as well as the new effort by William Elliott Whitmore. Debuted Ben Nichols' Last Pale Light In the West on this Episode, as well as Supersuckers. I'm not expecting dazzling brilliance from Willie & The Wheel, but it's new, and that's a Good Thing.

Love, and I mean LOVE the
Shane Nicholson tune. I've got to track down that disc.

Also, never heard the Chip Taylor song done by him. Excellent.

Great show.
