ROUTES-cast NOVEMBER 20, 2022

ROUTES & BRANCHES
featuring the very best of americana, alt.country and roots music
November 20, 2022
Scott Foley, purveyor of dust

As of this writing, there are 42 days remaining in the year. We'll be putting them to good use, as previously announced:

November 27 - State of the Genre (we identify the artists and albums that are charting the course)
December 4 - Favorite Songs of 2022
December 11 - Favorite Albums of 2022
December 18 - R&B Holiday ROUTES-cast

And the machine that is A Routes & Branches Guide To Feeding Your Monster continues lurching towards Spring. A promising debut, Myron Elkins has announced his first full-length. Produced by Dave Cobb, Factories Farms & Amphetamines is set for a January 13 release (Low Country Sound). One of our favorite songwriters, HC McEntire's next record will be another solo affair. Every Acre will grace our turntables on January 27 (Merge). Bria Salmena and her band have been serving behind Orville Peck on his past record and subsequent tour. While we await their debut full-length, Bria have announced the second in their series of Cuntry Covers (Sub Pop, Feb 24). Doug Paisley is pairing with producer and singer-songwriter Alfie Jurvanen for Say What You Like. The record draws from a reported cache of 250 previously unrecorded tunes (Outside, Mar 17).
