ROUTES & BRANCHES
featuring the very best of americana, alt.country and roots music
February 12, 2023
Scott Foley, purveyor of dust

For some, it's just a long list of artists they've never heard of. For others, it's a lifelong commitment and an obsession. Ain't no slowin' the flow of new album announcements added to A Routes & Branches Guide To Feeding Your Monster. Since we last convened, Delta Spirit frontguy Matthew Logan Vasquez declared April 7 as the date for his next solo record. His fifth project, As All Get Out arrives courtesy of Nine Mile Records. Tallest Man on Earth will launch their first original LP since 2019 on April 14. Anti Records will present Henry St, produced by Sylvan Esso's Nick Sanborn. Consider us happy to see an album on the horizon from Esther Rose. Her first for the New West label, Safe to Run is scheduled for an April 21 release. Robert Ellis has plans for a follow-up to 2019's Texas Piano Man. On his own Niles City label, Yesterday's News is set for a May 19 release. Finally, put a pin on your calendar for June 23, when Caitlin Canty will be unleashing Quiet Flame
