Is there a more distinctive voice in americana than Frazey Ford? The only one that comes close is her former Be Good Tanya, Jolie Holland. Yet Ford's debut solo CD proves more cohesive and complete than any of Holland's albums. She also demonstrates a good amount of soul throughout Obadiah.
